Interchangable parts!

Which Triumph parts are interchangeable with those on other manufacturer's bikes?

Here are some that I know of:

1. Thunderbird levers are interchangable with Kawasaki ZX11 levers.

2. The Triumph filter (3990070-T0301) is the same as the Kawasaki filter (16099-003) at half the cost!

Yeah, and the Daytona comes without adjustable clutch lever, but the Triple, Rocket & Speedmaster clutch fits perfectly. :D :D

I'd like to know if the SW Motech crash bars for the Tiger 1050 would fit my S3 1050, I think that would be mean looking and add some damage protection.

same engine, dont see why not. Although I can immediately tell you that you would have to remove the Speed triples radiator guard. Maybe you get lucky and just need minimal mods.

The biggest thing to look for seems to be the distance between the bolts on each side where it mounts. I know the Tiger has a slightly different frame in that some kind of plate bolts on to the bottom below the pegs. I'm not sure though if the Tiger frame is longer. When I have the dough maybe I'll just order it up and see, maybe contact SW Motech in the meantime to see if they even considered test fitting one to a Speedy.
